The Galveston Bay Water Brigade (GBWB) welcomes individuals, businesses, and organizations willing to take simple water-saving steps to protect one of our region’s natural treasures – Galveston Bay! By pledging to conserve water, members of the Brigade honor the Bay and protect the wildlife that calls it home–including oysters, fish, and herons.
The GBWB is an effort of the Texas Living Waters Project, a collaboration that includes the National Wildlife Federation, Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club and Galveston Bay Foundation. Together, we work to transform the way Texas manages water to better protect our springs, rivers and bays to meet the water needs of Texas and future generations of Texans.
The Galveston Bay Water Brigade campaign has been made possible thanks to the generous support of the Houston Endowment.
